New Business:
- A representative form Pend Oreille County Commissioner Mike Manus and a representative from Newport-Sulivan Lake Ranger Districts will be giving an update on the Batey-Bould Trail System bridge repair plans. PANTRA is donating the labor and a local lumber company is donating the material to fix the bridges that are the main liability issues within the system (liability problems on the Batey-Bould Trail System have caused the F.S. to look at a possible closure of all or part of the trail system).

Any idea when the building of these bridges will begin? I have experience building wooden bridges and want to help.
We have a meeting with the Forest Service and the Pend Oreille County Commissioner on Batey-Bould the first part of June. After that we will know more and can fill in the blanks during our June 14th general meeting. The F.S. and County Commissioner said they will be there, or have a representative, at the meeting. The bridge building date(s) will be decided after we survey club members so we can get maximum participation.
