Because of the Government ordered closures and social distancing directive due to the Corona Virus, PANTRA's May's general meeting and rides have been CANCELED!
This PANTRA group ride is a half day ride (~20 miles) intended to familiarize riders with the trails in the Hayes Gulch Trail System. The trail system is relatively small with some great views of Sandpoint and Lake Pend Oreille. This ride, and the trail system, are for intermediate riders and above. Steep climbs/decents, step-ups, and twisting trails are scattered throughout the trail system and can't be avoided.
This ride starts at the new trailhead (see map) that the Idaho Department of Lands (IDL) put in last year, using your OHV sticker dollars, because previous access to Hays Gulch was on private property and is now closed.
Please be at the Hayes Gulch Parking Lot (see map) and be ready to ride by 10:00 am. Parking is limited so please buddy up when driving.
