PANTRA Batey-Bould Ride

PANTRA's Batey-Bould Ride

From 9:30

At Batey-Bould ORV Trailhead

48.3708056,-117.3715833

PANTRA

PANTRA's Batey-Bould Ride will be a half day+ ride for "capable" beginner riders and above.

We will be riding trail #306 to the three bridges PANTRA rebuilt last year (to save the system from closure) and back.  This is about a 40 mile, round trip, ride with no long steep sections or side hills and the only stream crossings are on bridges.

The challenge of this trail is miles of twisting, rooted, rocky, slippery when wet, single track over rolling hills and dark timber.  More advanced riders can split off and take trail #309 or trail #311 if they want more of a challenge.

Come join us and see how your PANTRA membership allows us to "PRESERVE YOUR RIGHT TO RIDE".  Guests are welcome!

Is there a camp site close to tail head

There’s several primitive camp areas on Tacoma Creek Road a few miles north of the Batey-Bould turnoff. Last year’s PANTRA campsite (when we were rebuilding the bridges) is marked on the link below. That’s a nice place to camp if you’re by yourself or with a large group. http://pantra.org/call-to-action/saving-batey-bould-trail-system/

      Hi Pat,

Sounds like you will have no problem riding Batey-Bould. It’s rough and wears you out but the trails we will be riding aren’t terribly difficult. You can get directions to the Batey-Bould trailhead in the “Where to Ride” section on our website (http://pantra.org/where-to-ride/batey-bould-trailhead/).

Haven’t seen the Gold Creek video yet. Still working on it?

    • pantra on July 13, 2018 at 7:57 am

My computer with the video files crapped out (hardware issue). I’m trying to find someone/some-place that can fix it so I can recover the video files. The Kids Ride, Canfield Ride, and LPO Ride videos are on there too. Hopefully I can get them all recovered and finish the editing and get them posted.
