3 of 4 U.S. Forest Service (FS) trails fail to meet standards making them at risk for closure. With continued funding cuts, the FS is increasingly turning to volunteer groups like PANTRA to be trail stewards and to help maintain and preserve your trails.
PANTRA's Club Charter is predicated on providing volunteer services to promote, maintain, preserve, and expand trails for off-road motorcycle trail users and for all other trail user's benefit.
But volunteer work costs money. Equipment, repair/maintenance of equipment, construction materials, hardware, and often food for volunteers on larger projects, all have an out of pocket cost associated with them.
With yearly membership dues and periodic grants, we've been able to do a tremendous amount trail maintenance each year. However, with 3 out of 4 trails not meeting FS standards, we need to do more to save our trails and need more of your help to do it.
JOIN, DONATE, or do BOTH and help us save your trails!
