Cleared five trees that were place in trail 3 by a hiker or someone else.

They were placed in spots just around corners where it could get someone hurt and one was put in a position that it could impale a rider 3.5 ft off the ground and sharp. Someone loves the trails us dirtbikers made and thinks we should be hurt and banned from them.  Seems to me that they do not appreciate the great trail system we have created for everyone to use up there.

Time spent 15 min.

Canfield April 3, 10

4 bikes, 1 saw
15 miles
2.5 hours
Cut trails 8, 10, A, some of B, some of 6, and a bit of 3.  Although you probably won't be able to tell after all of this wind.
Driving distance 24 miles.

Log Cutter: Just because someone posts that they cleared a particular trail on a certain date does not mean they are the only party that cleared the trail. Many folks in and outside of PANTRA clear trails and in no way does this suggest we are the only ones who did so. This is a forum for posting hours so we can track our efforts. Again, it doesn't say that you didn't clear those trails -- it merely states that this particular member cleared some portion of the trail(s) on that date.

Hope that resolves any misinformed discontent felt by you.

Thank you -- we appreciate everyone's efforts to keep trails clear.

LogCutter,  I think Steve summed it up perfect.  Thanks for clearing the trails earlier, but there were several trees that had fallen due to the heavy rains we had that previous week.  So no I did not claim your credit, just added to the great job you did.

Why the harsh attitude?  Think just because you cleared the trails once early in the year do you think the will remain clear until next spring?  Keep up the great work LogCutter.  I wouldn't mind clearing some trail with you someday.
